Special Ticketed Events & Immersive Experiences — Cancellation Policy

Special ticketed events, including murder mysteries, themed experiences and seasonal gatherings, require advance commitments for catering, venue arrangements, materials, staffing and customized guest experiences. For this reason, the following cancellation policy applies to these events and will be clearly displayed at the time of ticket purchase.

More than 14 days before the event: A refund may be requested, less any clearly disclosed, non-refundable third-party transaction fees actually retained by the payment processor.

8–14 days before the event: 50% of the ticket price is refundable. Alternatively, a credit may be offered at Darcy’s Tea Circle’s discretion.

7 days or less before the event: Tickets are non-refundable, as catering, supplies, character assignments and event preparations may already be finalized. If a replacement guest purchases the ticket, a refund or credit may be considered.

Ticket transfers: Guests may request to transfer their ticket to another person, subject to written approval and sufficient notice for catering, guest records and character assignments to be updated. The replacement guest must meet all event requirements.

Cancellation by Darcy’s Tea Circle: If Darcy’s Tea Circle cancels an event and does not offer a suitable rescheduled date, guests will receive a refund of the ticket price or may choose an offered alternative where appropriate.

This policy applies to guest-requested cancellations and does not limit any rights a customer may have under applicable Ontario or Canadian law.
